I am beyond thrilled to announce that I’m starting a real estate team! The formation of The Welcome Home Group is such a dream come true, and certainly a long time coming after countless hours of hard work, thoughtful consideration, and lots of prayer.

It’s only fitting that my first official team member is someone who’s been a huge part of my life, both personally and professionally, for more than ten years. I’ve watched firsthand for over a decade how Kelly Fiore puts her heart and soul into everything she does, from friendships to business endeavors. I’m grateful that she’s taking this leap alongside me, and even more grateful for what her leadership and expertise will mean for my loyal clients and the new ones to come. 

I cannot wait to share more with you in the coming weeks about what this team formation will mean for those we serve in real estate: more of everything you’ve come to expect – more marketing, more support, more guidance, more helpful resources. (We are still very much a part of SimpliHŌM and are so very proud to be affiliated with a brokerage that already provides its agents so much in terms of service and support.) 

If you’re not in real estate, you may not know what it really means to form a team, and why I’m so excited about it, so I wanted to explain what it is and where it’s going.

What’s a real estate team? Is it like a brokerage/agency?

A team is collection of agents working together; some will be full service agents, some will specialize with buyers, some specialize with sellers, but all will bring their “A” game to selling real estate, no matter whom they represent. Also part of the team are the “behind the scenes” folks — the people who handle the administrative tasks, making sure the “I”s are dotted and the “T”s are crossed, and the people who handle the details that make every job we take on for a client look effortless.

We’re not a brokerage. Our team is proud to be part of the SimpliHŌM brokerage and we are based out of the Murfreesboro office.


What are the benefits to home buyers or sellers?

When a client hires an agent on the team, they have more people working for them, which makes things faster, easier, and more efficient. For example, if one of us is unavailable to show a house, another team member can do that, and you don’t lose out on a potential opportunity due to waiting or scheduling. When we take a new listing, every agent on the team is actively searching for the right buyer. Paperwork is processed quickly by the administrative professionals, so there won’t be any delays. 

What are the benefits to agents of joining a team?

From your first day on the team, one-on-one coaching is provided, leads are generated, paperwork is processed, and marketing collateral is created. The atmosphere is one of growth and positivity and success-seeking. Whether you’re brand new to the business and need to know how to get started, or have been in for a while and just want to have a positive work experience with like-minded individuals, you will find a great environment here. 

Who’s on the team now?

Right now, we have two full service agents to serve your buying, selling or investment property needs. We have access to a team of 3 transaction coordinators. While your agent is extremely involved from start to finish, our transaction coordinators help efficiently handle the paperwork side of things so that our agents can focus on your successful sale or purchase. We have a marketing assistant to make sure your home gets in front of the most eyes possible, and she is backed by our stellar in-house media team offering professional photography and videography. And we also have an amazing network of referral partners from lenders we feel 100% confident in recommending, to contractors and handymen who can quickly and efficiently handle your renovations or repairs.
